Legoland – everyone loves those little bricks and at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Manchester you can enjoy a fun day out for all the family surrounded by over 2 million of them!! An amazing 4D cinema, the fun Kingdom Quest laser chariot ride and the Merlin’s Apprentice ride are just a few of the attractions. New for 2015 is the DUPLO Farm – bigger bricks for smaller kids!
Coronation Street Tour – whether it’s your guilty secret or you can’t keep talking about it, an episode of Corrie is a lot of people’s idea of the perfect half hour… well it’s less stressful than extra time! Enjoy a tour behind the scenes of the world famous Quay Street set in Manchester.
Tatton Park – just outside Manchester is the huge 1000 acre parklands of Tatton Park. Part stately home, home farm ornamental garden and deer park. Tonnes of space for the kids to run around – put your jumpers down and have a game of footie!
Trafford Centre Shopping – you’ve gotta love a bit of shoping if you are going to come here. Forget your local shopping arcade – this place is immense!
Palace Theatre, Manchester – and if you are looking beyond the many restaurants and bars that fill the town centre, then check out the Palace Theatre which is full of great entertainment on a Saturday night: Elvis Presley and Nik Kershaw are here too (see Bournemouth!)
